When the edit categories panel appears, you'll see a list of your categories which includes the name of each category and the color assigned to it. You'll also see a pop-up menu containing a list of colors and both an Add and Delete button. To add a new category, click the Add button. You can then rename the category, and use the pop-up menu to assign a color. To rename/change the color of a category, select the category you wish to modifiy, and either double-click the name to rename it, or select a new color from the pop-up menu. To delete a category, select it from the list and click the Delete button. A sheet will appear, allowing you to assign a different category to any documents assigned to the category you're deleting. Click the Delete button to delete the category (or hit the Enter key), or cancel. (For more information on deleting categories, see "What happens if I delete a category?") All changes to categories are made immediately, and do not require you to reassign your documents.
